International Marconi Day

International Marconi Day celebrates Marconi's birthday which is April 25th. A 24-hour event is held on the Saturday closest to this date and the fun begins at 00:00 UTC, ending 24 hours later. SONRA commemorates International Marconi Day by operating from both Cabot Tower (VO1IMD) and Admiralty House Museum and Archives (VO1BZM). All HF Bands with all modes of communication are encouraged from both locations.

In order to make this event a success, we encourage anyone who is interested to sign up early to ensure the time slot of their choice.
