A “Net” is an on-the-air gathering or meeting of ham radio operators! There are a number of regular nets in the province, on both VHF and HF.
- Caribou Net: Held daily at 21:00 Newfoundland Time on the cross-island VHF linked repeater system.
- Cod Jigger Net: Held daily at 09:30 Newfoundland Time on 7.085 MHz or 3.740 MHz, depending on conditions.
- Newfoundland and Labrador Evening Traffic Net: Held daily at 19:00 Newfoundland Time on 3.740 MHz.
